Hi,
I am about to take my first GMAT in a couple of days and my target score this time around is 650.I had taken the Veritas Prep Free Test last week and scored 640(Q-44,V-39).The test was taken in the same environment and scheduled breaks were taken in the same manner as the real GMAT.Although I was not happy with the score however,I was pleased that at least I was near my target score. Moreover, by lurking in some GMAT Forums I came to know that Veritas Prep tests are a better indicator of actual GMAT performance than other tests available in the market. But I was shocked to see my GMAT Prep Exam score which I had taken today that showed a paltry 540 (Q-39,V-25).I could not believe that such a drastic dip in performance in a matter of just a few days and that too by a straight 100 points. This exam was also taken in the same test environment as the Veritas Test.I am at a loss now and do not know what to do as I have my GMAT Exam scheduled in a couple of days.Kindly need advice on the same and also if anyone could throw some light on the accuracy of the Veritas tests as I was thinking to buy the whole pack of 7 tests but have doubts now regarding the same.
