I was thinking may be we can have a section in GMAT club and monitor these rankings on a yearly basis??

Carsen deserves all the credit on this one- I had no idea it had been released until he told me about it.

I would love to have a commentary on these rankings each year. If nothing else, some of them are useful for a good laugh!

Hi

I am not sure how realible these are. But they come from the data collected from around 18000 students from their respective schools. Harvard and Warton ae not in the list, because they do not paricipate in such surveys.

In europe, the firms give importance to FT rankings, forbes and the EIU. These are only 2 rankings that they follow. I do not see IESE taking long time to climb the spots in FT rankings as well. The placements this were just awesum, with an average salary shooting up like 148K (US$). :lol:

the link in the first post now links to the 2009 economist rankings. most people readily dismiss any rankings that are not businessweek (and to some extent us news), but it's an interesting read nonetheless.
