Hi guys, I’m currently an undergraduate student in Italy, I will graduate in June/July 2016 and I hope to get into a top MSc in Management in Europe. I would appreciate if you can evaluate my profile and tell me if I stand a chance for these programs.
The schools I’m aiming at are the following, not necessarily in the given order:
Bocconi CEMS
Rotterdam School of Management CEMS
Essec MSc in Management
HEC MSc in Strategic Management
HEC Masters in Management (Grande Ecole)
Cass Business School MSc in Management
Here’s my profile
Bachelor:
Università degli Studi di Brescia (an average university in Italy)
Major in Economics and Business Management
Gpa 28.15/30 (minimum to pass is 18, maximum is 30)
International exchange: Erasmus+ experience of 6 months at Nottingham Business School (Nottingham Trent University) in Uk
GMAT 730 (Q48, V42); IR 7; AWA 5.0
IELTS 8.0
Professional experience:
Student-job at the Scholarships Office at my university
Main responsibilities: support in ordinary administration tasks, answer telephone calls, front office activities
Extracurricular:
I speak several foreign languages, a part from Italian (my mother tongue) and English
Chinese C2 (HSK 6 certification, but already expired so I don’t know if it counts)
Spanish C1 (Dele C1 certification)
French B2 (Delf B2 certification)
I hope to begin an internship in a multinational organization before sending my application in order to enrich my work experience, since I know that top Business Schools love internship experiences at international companies. Otherwise, I’ll do an internship at a local company, which is still better than nothing.
Another thing is that, due to personal reasons, I started my undergraduate degree two years later than other folks. I hope that admission committees don't put too much weight on that.
What do you think about my profile's competitiveness? Looking forward to your feedback guys :D
