I ask this because some scores of tests I has taken have not sense. I know it is an adaptive test and does not matter only the percentage of correct answers, but it do not seem to me normal that with a similar distribution of correct and incorrect anwers I received those verbal score:
17 errors (1 CR, 6 RC, 10 SC) score 36
9 errors (3 CR, 1 RC, 5 SC) score 37
7 errors (1 CR, 5 RC, 1 SC) score 35
The Veritas test seems to me more difficult than GmatPrep tests (in fact, I got easy a 770 in the GmatPrep tests but I got 690 in the Veritas Tests), but this is not a problem, rather is an incentive to study more and do better. The problem is that those verbal score in my opinion are not realiables.
It is not possible to more than halve the errors and take a worst mark. Also all the errors I made were in ambigous RC passages, not in very easy first questions. With the same number of errors (7), I get a 44 in the gmatPrep official simulation.
Moreover, all my mates that prepare gmat with me, have experienced the same problem.
This ask this only in order to know if this is a real problem, or maybe is a strange situation that has happened to me and my friends. Indeed, I am not worried for my scores and I enjoy Veritas exams (unless some verbal questions appeare to me very weak and ambigous, not completely convincing).
