Hi guys,
I took a practice test from the GMATPrep back in May, and I got the following scores:
Q: 46
V: 28
Total: 610
Then I took two Veritas practice tests recently and my overall scores still remained the same!!
August 14th:
Q: 38
V: 36
Total: 610
Sept 10th:
Q: 40
V: 34
Total: 610
Has anyone encountered similar problems? I'm not sure what I have done wrong. I was glad my overall verbal score went up, but my Q score decreased drastically and it's been very discouraging. If you do have any advice, please do share and I do appreciate sincerely.

There are many possible reasons as to why you have not seen an overall score increase from your May practice exam to your most recent exam. However, to provide more personalized advice, I would like to learn more about your study routine. So I have a few questions:
1) Describe your study routine. For how many hours a day have you been studying and for how many total months? What resources have you been using for your prep?
2) Have you taken any official MBA.com exams besides the one in May? If so, can you provide us with the dates and score breakdowns of those practice exams? When you took the practice tests, did you take them under realistic conditions (e.g. in a quiet environment, no extended breaks)? If you have not taken any, could you take another one of those exams and report back with the score breakdown?
3) To what schools do you plan to apply?
4) What deadlines are you targeting?
5) When is the date of your GMAT?

Back in late May of this year, you were considering enrolling in a GMAT Course. Did you end up taking a Course of did you continue to self-study? Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) Did you take the FULL CAT each time (with the Essay and IR sections)?
Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you can train to score at a higher level.
