Hi,
I just received my TOEFL score today and it totals 110. My sub section scores are Reading (29) , Listening (27), Speaking (24) and Writing (30). Though I am actually happy with my overall score I feel a bit pensive about my Speaking score.
So I would like the gurus here to help me get a review on my score specially my Speaking score so that I could get a fair estimate of my performance in the test. It would also help me to evaluate whether I need to take the test again to improve my speaking. I am actually a good speaker of the English Language but perhaps the tension of a timed speaking task got the better of me.
Looking at the speaking rubrics published by ETS my speaking score lies at the highest end of the fair range (18-25). There is no mean mentioned for the score of 25. A mean of 3.16 is 24 whether a mean of 3.33 is 26 as per the rubrics posted.
Really looking forward to hearing from the experts.
