Is there any ways to turn off double confirmation of an answer? I don't want to press "Yes" each time when I had picked an answer and then see the window "Would you like to confirm the answer?". Thanks to GMAT that there is no additional window asking us "Are you sure?". It's time-consuming. I just want to simply pick an answer and then click "Next".

And, in my opinion, second shortcoming of the GMAT is that we are not allowed to use stopwatch like GMATClub timer. It won't tell us an answer. It will just tell us how much time did we spend to a certain question. Not big deal, right?)

I think you should go ahead and post an email to GMAC People. :-D

Keep us posted.

OK)) I'm really curious why we are not allowed to do so, but we are allowed to hide the timer, which is, in my opinion, bad for you

Hi Terabyte,

The 'double confirmation' on Test Day is there as a counter to anyone who would argue that they "accidentally" chose an answer. While it's possible that you might 'accidentally' hit the submit button, there's no plausible argument for why you might accidentally hit that button AND THEN accidentally move the mouse and hit another button. In addition, this aspect of the Exam has been a standard part of all Test Taker's GMATs over the last 5 years, so changing that aspect of the Exam would likely impact (in some notable ways) the experiences for anyone who didn't have to repeatedly push it.

I think that yes, it might be, but should be pretty rare case. For me it's about minus 2 minutes per section, which is equal to minus 1-3 answers. Here we don't have confirmation, but I have never had any problems with clicking to the answer that I had picked. Anyway, there is nothing to do with that

While we get the confirmation pop-up, does the time run out in the background or the clock pauses?

In the GMAT Classic exam it's understandable that there was a confirmation pop-up before going to the next question because there was no option to review questions at the end of each section, but I see absolutely no need for it in the GMAT Focus exam where you have the liberty of going back and reviewing upto 3 questions in each section. So, even if you do accidentally click 'next', you can go back and fix it in the review section. The confirmation pop-up window wastes some valuable time in my opinion. First you click once to pick your answer choice, then you go all the way to the bottom right corner to click 'next', then you come back to the center of the screen to click 'confirm', now do that for every question in the exam and you will be losing some valuable time.
