I am very excited to share with U my experience from today.
A little about myself:
I hold an MA in Quality studies from last year, I am a mom for 3 children(2 of them still small), and didn't work in the last few months, since I wanted to invest my time in studying for the GMAT exam. My native language is Arabic and since I do not use the English language very often; as it is considered an obstacle for many young people who strive to get a good job in my community, it was not easy for me to improve and deal with academic articles, with no one to consult with.
I bought an online course: examPAL; which I must recommend due to their unique method and the several approaches they suggest to answer the different questions.
At first, I wanted to attempt the exam on Feb. and had the GMATPREP CATS 1,2,3,4 which in all I scored between 360 and 420, with a very low verbal score (V13-V18). I decided to postpone and improve my verbal abilities in this time; I read every day for at least one hour for one month and a half, felt I am getting better, and since I needed to handle other things in this time I ended up reading less time, if I had the chance to read more time, I would have done it since it helped me a lot.
I returned to the GMAT studies since May. Did another 2 GMATPREP CATs 5 and 6 in the last week, but still didn’t improve in my score. I had 2 double private sessions with examPAL, which reviewed my performance in the CATs and they recommended about a test strategy suitable to me, that I believe helped me a lot. In the last few days I convinced myself that since everyone knows that the simulation predicts most the real score, what is the probability that I will get higher score than I got before? Probably no chance!
When I arrived to the test center, I forced myself to stop thinking about the score, and to focus in the test, and give myself a chance to show what I know; I chose to start with the quant section which wasn’t easy, the first 3 questions were very difficult and even had to guess one of them, I continued to the verbal section, which also was challenging. The IR and AWA were as usual. Finished the AWA and was very happy to see a 580 Q-42 V-28.
I am satisfied for now, haven’t decided yet whether to do the exam again or not. But the whole journey wasn’t easy at all, full of many ups and downs, the experience of today approved to me that I can do it. Maybe I will give it another try after all

congratulations on your score! I'm sure it wasn't an easy task. I saw a lot of improvement after I switched courses. Wishing you success in all future endeavors.
