Does finishing early in a section boosts up GMAT score.
This is what happened with me. I purchased 2 GMAT prep official tests.
I gave one of the tests but as I just wanted mu verbal and quants section score I quit my test after I was done with the 2 desired sections. Howecer I did not receive any score. So I reset the tests and with a hope that I will receive same questions gave back the test.
On Verbal section, about 36 questions were exactly same. All the passagess were exactly same. So without reading much I marked the same answers(as I wanted a genuine score). I finished it in like 30 mins. Same happened with quants and I received a score of 690.
I was happy about my improvement so did not postpone my exam.
Today I gave the second test and to my surprise scored a 550. In face i made 13 mistakes in Verbal section whereas I had made 15 in my 690 attempt.
I understand that difficulty of the questions matter but such a vast deviation? Did time thing mattered in my 1st attempt?
Please help.
Thanks alot in advance.
