Hi all ,
Am new to GMAT ,planning to take the GMAT test this year , am little bit confused on the deadlines and rounds after we take the GMAT .
If Deadline day for R1 for harward is sep 30 2018 and R2 is Jan 1 2019 for the class of 2019 , now i need to take the test before R1 deadline date and i need to apply for Harward before Sep 30 2018 or i can apply before Jan 1 2019 for Round 1 ?
please anyone explain it .

Thank you for your post. HBS just released their application deadline for intake 2019 (Class of 2021). R1 application is due September 5th. This is the date when all your documents, including GMAT are required to be submitted. The deadline for R2 is January 3rd, and all documents need to be submitted on that day before 12:00PM EST. The idea is that you schedule your GMAT test around the school deadlines and not the other way around.
As to your GMAT, you want to give yourself ample time to retake should you receive a less than desirable score. GMAT allows you to take the exam every 16 calendar days, no more than 5 times in a calendar year.

Actually i didn't know these R1 R2 deadlines for submission ,i lately started my preparation and I think I will be missing the R1 of many top B schools.
For getting into top B schools is it compulsory that we need to submit our application in R1?
What will happen if I submit the application for the Top BSchools in R2 and R3 ?
Is there any website to see all the R1 R2 R3 deadlines of BSchools for 2019 ?
