C. wolf holds its tail between its legs, just as a dog does : action of wold compared with action of dog- correct, no redundant appositive .. Hold It
D. wolf holds its tail between its legs, just as a dog's is : Same as A .ELIMINATE
E. wolf holds its tail between its legs, just like that of a dog's : wolf is compared with dog's tail . ELIMINATE
