Hi ,
What is your strategy for choosing a CEMS host school ( spending one semester abroad ) .
What do you think will be good factors to consider ? school ranking , school MIM ranking , ..?
I am trying to decide between
Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (India )
and
University College Dublin: Smurfit (Ireland )
suppose that the student is accepted to both .
What is your strategy for choosing a CEMS host school ( spending one semester abroad ) .
What do you think will be good factors to consider ? school ranking , school MIM ranking , ..?

It depends on what your goals are. If you’re choosing a school for no specific purpose and want to enjoy a semester in another country, you can go right ahead and choose any of the two. However, if you have a long-term goal in mind, then you need to choose the college accordingly. You should see if the immigration policies would allow you to pursue relevant work opportunities in the country or how the brand name of college could help you in securing a job in that particular area.
