Scholars believe that sequence dating, a process that used to measure the relative age difference between different periods, can be used to accurately date the age of an archaeological site. Using sequence dating, several notable archaeologists concluded that several pots recently found at a certain site in Egypt indicate that the site must have been pre-dynastic.

The premise of the question revolves around how scholars believe that a certain pot is from pre-dynastic era by checking out its relative age via sequence dating. To weaken the premise, we'd need an answer choice in the stem that proves that the pot could have been made before or after the dynastic era. Option B fits.
choice A is wrong because it doesn't talk about the period in terms of pre and post dynastic, i mean what if the pots were made in the pre-dynastic period and in the next 150 years(which is still pre dynastic) they were buried at that archaelogic site.
choice B on the other hand completely eradicates the possibility of these pots being placed there in the pre dynastic period, since the style evolved till the dynastic and post-dynastic period.
