2πr=12
r=6/π
Area of circle= πr^2
=π(6/π)^2
=36/π
=36/3.14
=11.46~12

Given
In this question, we are given that
- • The circumference of a circle is 12
To find
We need to determine
- • The approximate area of the circle
Approach and Working
If we assume the radius of the circle as R, then we can write
- • \(2πR = 12\)
Or, \(2 * 3 * R = 12\) (approximating \(π\) ~ 3)
Or, \(R = 2\)
Therefore, the approximate area = \(πR^2 = 3 * 2 * 2 = 12\)
Thus, option B is the correct answer.
Correct Answer: Option B
Note: Removing the decimal part in \(π\) removes almost all the calculation
