Hello,
I have recently appeared for GMAT and unfortunately, I scored very low specifically verbal - 620 ( Q49, V26, IR5, AWA6).
Background:
Indian, Female, 30
Graduated from Govt Engineering Collg - UIT RGPV with GPA 3.8
Work Ex (Total 7.3 years, 90 Months):
Working as a Bigdata Analyst & Developer in a MNC. I have been working in London for past two years.
I was a part of Business Intelligence and Bigdata Centre of Excellence team for 3 and half year.
I was planning to do MS in business analytics. Is there any possibility of getting into any good college at this score.
I have short listed following schools
USC Marshal
Northwestern University McCormick School
University of Maryland Robert H Smith School
North Carolina State University ( No GMAT score required)

If you can reappear for the GMAT again do that. MBA is a one time thing in life. It’s better you do it from good colleges. With this score you won’t get good college. Also always check ROI. Good luck

It will be difficult to get into a top school with a score that low, although it does help that your lowest score is verbal and not quant. They may be willing to overlook a low verbal score if every other part of your application is very strong. That said, you are also quite a bit above the average age at some of these schools, which can also be a challenge. For example, at McCormick, only 5% of the student body enters with more than 5 years of work experience. When you get too "old" they worry that you no longer need the degree. You'll want to make sure you have a very strong argument for why you do need this education to achieve your career goals, and if there is any possibility of improving your GMAT score I'd definitely give that a shot as well! Even a 680 would make a big difference. Good luck to you!
