I do agree with you on this. Although they had some great verbal tips but for quant they aren’t the best out there.
I prefer economist GMAT they are good
Manhattan GMAT is also very good
Also for verbal SC I found these videos shared on YouTube by GMATPrepNow very helpful and they are free.

For you, since you have already bought e-gmat use their scholaranium test to check your weaknesses and then come to gmat club and practice related questions.

Sorry to hear about your experience but prep course doesn't automatically guarantee success. I'm no advocate of Egmat but yeah a student. There's this section of re test takers on egmat which will guide you where to start from and i think you should write them a mail and ask them for help. Their concepts in SC and CR covers pretty much what is tested on the test day ( That might explain why the reviews are good) but yeah i agree to the fact that getting used to their methodology may be a little difficult. In this 6-7 hour study a day, Did you just solve their questions or also spent time reviewing them? Were you applying their 3 step process? I have some issues with egmat too but i won't say it didn't help me at all. it did help me improve substantially in SC and CR atleast. that being said, Getting a score less than what you desire may have a lot of factors behind it, blaming the course alone isn't going to help. Max to max all they can do is give you a refund i guess. I think you should re do all their concept files and apply them again on such quality questions as OG. Wishing you goodluck.

In my opinion do not let down yourself from your target score. For me its very difficult to believe that someone got 700+ in few weeks of preparation.
One advice is common among all best tutor, in the last month of preparation work only with OG questions.
I suggest you to invest in GMATCLUB test , exam packs & practice questions from official site.
As you are 680 these two are sufficient for you to get your score but you need to work on your error log which is very important.

Hello Everyone!

I am here to talk briefly about my experience studying for the GMAT and mostly to talk about my experience using E-GMAT Quant online and Verbal Online courses.
I usually never post reviews but what happened this time was quite confusing so I would like to get some professional opinion on the same.
I was able to get to a 650( Q46, V34) on my own with some random prep using OG but really wanted to get my score to something like 750 so I looked up courses and saw some of the best reviews for E-GMAT and decided to go for it to improve. Now there is a lot of hype around their verbal course but I randomly went for their quant as well which is way outside the scope of GMAT in difficulty of questions and it has very long and tedious solutions. I was literally studying for 6-7 hours a day for around 2.3 months in a very disciplined manner and I really thought I was improving ( which I kinda did) but when I gave a mock I was at a 670 about 3 weeks before the exam. I know their quant course does not teach a lot of relevant concepts but even though I got a 97 percentile in one of their verbal ability tests I ended up with a 680(Q 48 & V34) on the real one. I really don't know what the problem was. How can 2.3 months of 7 hour days of studying lead to a 0 score improvement in verbal with supposedly the best verbal course? I may have done like a thousand questions and reviewed questions multiple times. I don’t know if I will be taking the test again but I thought I should generally share my experience because it may help someone in the future. I would say SC was the only thing that was good. Both CR and RC were really of no use.
I’ve read that GMAT club is excellent at checking reviews so I know those are real and so many people have stories claiming 750s,760s etc and insane verbal improvements after using their course. It really feels like the problem is with me when I read those reviews so I am really confused as to what could have happened. I’ve been academically brilliant and have attended a top 25 university in the world but this test and the experience confused me completely.
There is just so much hype behind the E-GMAT course so it feels highly disappointing and a big waste of money. Given another chance I would never take it up. They make huge promises regarding their “processes” but I frankly could not understand what the hype was all about.
I would appreciate some insight and I am not sure if others have experienced something like this before. I do not see a single bad review about E-GMAT. So if someone did please let me know because it is highly misleading.
Thank you for your time in advance

i Think egmat is typical Indian prep company. Exploiting poor and filling their own pockets . Any body who wish to know their SC strategy inbox me.

I have bought their quant and verbal (basic) a month ago and even I am finding their quant, CR and RC topics waste of time. The narrator speaks a lot (I mean a lot) which is sufficient to divert your attention and irritate you. there is a lot of useless slides (which is approx 50% of total content) and the questions asked during the lesson(especially CR) are way too simple. their SC is worth the hype though. I have improved from 28 to 37 but it is also because I finished MGMAT, OG and other CR books. I would give it 2 star out of 5.
