Only D weakens the argument by stating that if semi-automatic guns are on display, more people are inclined towards committing crime.

(B) People who do not want to break law ----------> We are talking about criminals not saints/law abiding citizens
(C) Talks about Fully Automatic guns ------------> Out of scope
(E) Accidental deaths ----------------> Out of scope as we are talking about violent crimes....
(D) States that even if people can acquire guns illegally, the curb on ready availability of deadly weapons will deter/reduce the likelihood of purchasing the weapon and reducing the crime rates, hence answer must be (D)
