What is the diameter of the circle inscribed in an isoceles trapezoid with parallel sides of length 45cm and 125cm?

got it.
was under the impression that inscribed circle is a circle inside another geometric figure but
definition of inscribed circle is : a circle which is tangent to, or touches, each side of the polygon.

I am getting close to your explanation but couldnt understand how u came up with the ratio of the non-parallel side as 45/2 and 125/2.

Mahesh,

The height of the trapezoid is the same as the diameter of the circle and thats what is asked. Refer to the document posted by shobhitb.
