Appreciate your responses.
Here's more about me.
Visual Communication graduate and humanities student. Decent 3.4ish CPA and have always scored 90s in school and college.
Experience though is eclectic. Spanning digital agencies, a fashion brand and finally IT products. I feel like I've found my fit in product companies and want to switch to product management from marketing, post MBA.
Strengths as I see -
1. Obvious diversity non engineer female story.
2. While I've always worked with No-name brands, the struggles, stories and successes there are dramatic because room to 'DO' is huge. I've taken up significant hiring, sales and team building functions besides content marketing itself. Worked directly with CEOs and founders, crafting Thought Leadership startegies, for example. (Obviously have concrete data here. It's kind of difficult to substantiate)
3. Closeted poet although my extra curriculars took a back seat after college.
4. I lead a Content Marketing team in a product company and have a demonstratred Content Writer to Content Manager story to build.
Weakness
1. Too many job shifts although I must say marketing and content by function is such. Traditional roles tend to have lesser attrition.
2. GMAT is a struggle for my right wired brain. Hopeful this attempt though but I think only R3 is realistic.
3.I feel like No-name brand and Small-scale successes are still not as impactful as bigger brand stories tend to be.
Overall besides role shift, I've my 'Why' figured on a deep level (I'd like to believe that at least). Perks of being a writer, perhaps.
Really trying for a 700+ GMAT.
Would love to hear more from you.
