There are two methods - you can manually click the send email link or just submit your application.
After you add a referee’s contact details, you have to “assign” them to your application. After you “assign” them to your application, you will see a link called “Send Email to Referee”. Click on the link to send an email to your referee, and make sure to inform them that you have sent it so that they can complete the reference report for you. Sometimes they will have to check their Junk/Spam folder to find the email. This method will allow your referees to complete their reports before you submit your application.
Alternatively, you can just fill up and submit your application. After you have submitted your application, your assigned referees will each receive an email inviting them to submit their referee report online. However, with this method, your application will be marked as "incomplete" until your referee reports have been submitted.
Do note that whichever method you choose, your referees will have to complete their reports within 14 days from the date of the email. Their email link will expire after that time period has passed.
