Hi guys, how detailed is the background check for MBA admits? For employment history, will they check the achievements or stories used in essays? Or they will only verify the dates/salaries/titles?

I do not think that achievements or stories can be checked. Rest your title, salary, employment, bank account history will be checked.

Will they send me a form to fill out? Or they will just use the information in application?

If its the latter, will i be able to delay the check of my current position to a later date? (I didn't tell my current boss that I'm applying for grad schools....)

The procedure varies from school to school. I do not know how it is done for the school you got in. It would be easier if you connect to a current student :)

This is a valid concern if it's related to your current employer becoming aware of your plans. If you're already accepted, I would call the school and ask the procedure framed in this way.

Ah so they won't go through bullets of my resume or stories in my essays right? Just some basic data check points like salaries/Dates/corporate titles?
