If y > 0, the value of y ?

(1) y^2 ≤ y
Since Y^2 is equal to Y or is less than Y
That means Y is either 1 or in positive fraction.
(Not sufficient)

(2) y is an integer.
Since Y is greater than 0, its value can range till positive infinity. (Not sufficient)

1&2: Y = 1 or 1/n
Since y is an integer.
Y = 1
(Sufficient)

(1) y^2 ≤ y
(2) y is an integer.
From 1
Y(Y-1)<=0
...(+)...0...(-).....1(+)
Y will be between [0,1]
Y=1/2,1/3
Not sufficient
From 2
Y =any integer
From 1 and 2
Y=1

If y > 0, what is the value of y ?

(1) y^2 ≤ y
(2) y is an integer.

(1) y could be 1 or any positive decimal. NOT SUFFICIENT.

(2) Since the prompt only tells us that y is an integer, y could be equal to any positive integer. NOT SUFFICIENT.

(1+2) We established in S1 could either be 1 or a decimal and S2 rules out it being decimal. Therefore y=1. SUFFICIENT.
