Thank you very much for your answers. I started the sentence with "If I have to describe with one word my professional and educational background, it certainly is ..." (while it should have been "had" and "would be")...

In my opinion, that's not something I would reply via email about. You're writing in present tense. While typically you would be using past tense to reflect on your experience, present tense also makes sense if you are including current aspects of your life from a professional and educational standpoint. If you continued to write in the present tense, it would be fine. Even if you switched to past tense later on in the application, I don't think it warrants an additional email pointing it out. Just my thought!

this is not a big enough error where you would contact adcomm after 2+ weeks of submission. adcomms know we're all human. if you app is otherwise strong, you won't be dinged for this.
