So I just finished taking my first CAT test (Exam 1 from GMAT Official Practice Starter Kit)
Here are my results
Total score - 660 (percentile 78)
Verbal - 40 (91 percentile)
Quant - 42 (45 percentile)
IR - 4 (40 percentile)
I'm not sure if this is good for the first CAT?
My questions are: a) Since my Verbal says 91 percentile, and quant is 45 percentile, maybe I should have taken GRE instead of GMAT ?
b) I'm aiming for a 730 score, how do I improve on what I have right now, and what should I be focusing my studying on? It seems from the CAT that I should focus on quant rather than verbal, but I'm not sure how exactly I should be studying the quant section, since I'm mostly approaching the quant section as a mathematician (math is my life, guys. I'm really good at math. I don't know what is happening that i'm scoring higher on verbal than on math).
Thanks everyone!
