Question 2. 40%
I dont think first one is right . it says does hold a job or even rents out so it should not include the middle portion , Answer should 160/400 or 8/20 or 4/10

11/20 is right for the first one see the teachers who don't hold secondary jobs will be every triangle except for that whole circle which is in total 12 triangles
So the remaining are 8 triangles who hold 2nd job and + 3 triangles who rent their home which is 160/400+ 60/400= 11/20

Q1. P(A or B or Both) is same as asking P(A or B)
and we know that P(A or B) = P(A)+P(B)-P(Both) [because P(Both) is included twice, we will subtract 1 extra]

A= he or she holds a second job
B= rents out one or more rooms in his or her home
P(A)=8/20
P(B)=6/20
P(Both)=3/20

Using P(A or B) = P(A)+P(B)-P(Both)
Asked probability = 8/20 + 6/20 - 3/20 = 11/20 (2nd Option)
