Many times aspirants are looking for January vs September intake of HEC's MBA. Here is my finding. Do cross check with admissions manager.
1. Jan intake has smaller class size 2. In Jan's intake, Phase 4 comes before phase 3 3. You must do Internship or exchange in Jan intake after finishing 12 months. So, you can continue your job/internship after 4 months because you have finished the MBA classes in 12 months. Once the students finish specialization phase in Jan intake, their MBA class sessions are over and they can take the internship of 6 months (ideally preferred time line - 6 months) 4. Choice of electives are more for Sep intake 5. The specialization phase is done together for the Sep and Jan intake. 6. Sep intake students need to come back to class for specialization after the internship/ MBA project (valid for 4 months) 7. Jan students have an advantage of getting longer duration of internship that might convert into a full time job offer

This is a great breakdown of the differences! Indeed the internship situation for Jan batch could be advantageous. I will say though the housing situation is better in September. Thanks for writing this.

Is there a difference in terms of internships between these two? Essentially, I'd like to if I'll be at a disadvantage in terms of securing internships if I start at Jan vs Sept.
