I had many back and forth conversations with the folks over mail. Pearson kept asking me to reach out to the mba support. And the support asked me to mail Pearson. My exam is on 5th June and I didn't hear anything, another person has his exam on 4th and he got the cancellation.
I eventually wrote them a long mail explaining that there is a statewide lockdown in Karnataka so how can you expect anyone to travel against govt Regulations. Cited a few articles and sent them pictures of the center being closed on google search for the next whole week.
They finally told me that they'll make a one time exception and cancel with full refund.Although I don't understand if they are cancelling other people's tests in and around the same date , then why make it seem that they're doing a favor.
I am yet to get an official mail from GMAT. But yes, Pearson support will cancel if you drop a geniune mail explaining them the whole deal.
