Guys just reconfirming, the interviews will take place over zoom/some online platform but in thw city that we select. Correct?

One is shortlisted both for interviews and essays. On the portal, you must be getting an option to select interview location as well.

FYI: Steps to copy paste essay in IIM A website

1. Right click on the essay box, click inspect
A html code box opens
In the bottom styles is selected
2. Go to even listeners
3 Go to paste
4. text area , here you get an option to remove
5. Click on remove and now you are good to go

can you elaborate more on this ??
finding it difficult to follow through...
though I can write manually ....prefer to do it like this ...

Is it just for mine or for many others the questions are different for round 2 shortlisted candidates -
Essay 1 : Can you walk us through some of the challenges you faced in your work life? Please describe how you were able to overcome them. (500 words) - somewhere I saw that the ex should be from last 3 years? for me its not ...
Essay 2 : Tell us what is special about you, which would make you a good addition to the classroom?
Essay 3 : What do the next five years mean to you in terms of your career? - completely different ?? for me ...

is there anyone else having the above as their essay questions..? all 500 words

For Interviews, you have to go to a VC Center in your selected city.
The selection Ratio is roughly 1:3 (But don’t quote me on this :p)
For my interview prep, I took the help of Crackadmission. They follow a very detailed and structured process. Great for last-minute prep

VC center meaning voice call center? So even if you were to go there physically, will the interviewers be available only virtually?

Refer to your queries above,
1. The interviews are conducted at pre-designated Video-Conferencing (VC) Centers situated in these cities that are provided among the options. The Video-Conferencing Centre will have a giant screen where you can see the professors and will interact with them. The rooms are equipped with comfortable audio and mic facilities and you won’t face any problem while interacting with them.
2. You will be given a paper and pen to jot down your points on extempore topics. The interview will start with an extempore topic and you will have to speak either in favour of or against the topic. You will be given 1 minute to jot down your points and to structure your thoughts before speaking. You will have to speak for at least two minutes and then the professors will start cross-questioning on the points that you made.
3. Then the interview will shift towards your profile and the questions will be asked from your resume ans essays.
4. The overall interview will go on for 20-25 minutes.

File comment: This is the screenshot I took on the day that the PGPX short list was out for R2. The word limit there is 250 words. Today after finalising essays I am seeing the word limit to be 500! What is this sorcery? Can you help me understand this?

Happened with me too. I saw 250 on day 1. Luckily logged in 2 days back to check. It was 500. Redid the essays. It’s short on time but i suppose we have to deal with it.

They can defer you to R3 if you can’t make it but not change in date or mode of interview allowed.

NitsOwl, not a good idea to open HTML code box and specially remove. It will remove the text box area where one has to put in the response. Take sometime to type your response guys.

Better to be safe than sorry after putting in so much efforts
