I have been following prethinking approach for a while now. I could see the accuracy going up. But still I am taking upto 3 mins to find the answer. egmat Can you please help me out?

You are doing something wrong. The whole idea of pre-thinking is that you come up with an answer to the question which then allows you to quickly identify the correct answer choice by matching it to your made up answer choice. This saves time on evaluating every single answer choice at least 70 or 80% of the time. The other 30 or 20% of the time, you have to evaluate every single choice since they don’t match your pre-thinking answer.. or can’t be answered that way.

You may want to try not prethinking, because prethinking can take extra time.
For one thing, prethinking itself takes time. Rather than go directly to the choices, you have to come up with your own answer first.
Then, when you go to the choices, if none of them matches your prethought answer, you have to go through them again to find the correct answer.
Another thing you can do to speed up in CR is limit note taking. Many people do fine in CR with no notes at all, and even if taking notes does help you, you don't have to take at lot of notes.
