A logo consists of an equilateral triangle and a semicircle that both extend outward from different sides of a rectangle. One side of the rectangle coincides with one side of the triangle, and another side of the rectangle coincides with the diameter of the semicircle. What is the perimeter of the entire logo?
(1) The area of the semicircle is 2π.
(2) Adjacent sides of the rectangle have the same length.

Logo Area = Area of (An equilateral triangle + Semicircle + Rectangle)
(1) The area of the semicircle is 2π.
Now 2π = πr^2/2 (taking r as radius of the semicircle)
Hence r = 2, hence side of square is 4 but we don't know the length of the other side - Insufficient
(2) Adjacent sides of the rectangle have the same length.
However, no information about the value of the sides of the rectangle or the semicircle or the triangle is provided - Insufficient
Combining (1) and (2) we know that r = 2, hence side of square (originally rectangle) is 4. Now the area of the logo can be calculated.
Area = 2π + 16 + 4√3 - Sufficient
Option C
(1) The area of the semicircle is 2π.

Your logic is more or less spot on for (1) and (2) but it did not ask for the area, it asked for the perimeter but nevertheless the answer is C for analogous reasons.
