Thank you for bumping this topic and feedback about the difficulty.
I have pinged the OP to see if they would be able to share/provide input in this topic perhaps. I think everyone would benefit from it.

P.S. We should soon have about a year's worth of data for the IR and hopefully that will help us determine the difficulty of the questions better.

Hello

I took the test and ended up with 151, I am debating if I should retake it since I only prepared for a few weeks. I would say the questions on the test were somewhat harder than GMAC practice tests but way easier than the GMAT club sample test.

Thank you

Thank you so much for your feedback. Would you say all questions, Quant and verbal and IR were easier in the test?

As to 151, it’s 60th percentile and if you only studied for a few weeks, I think you have a good chance to improve your score substantially if you spent your Christmas in GMAT hell 😂

Hi my friend

I have just prepared for 4 weeks and consistently get scores (GMAC official practice tests) from 151 - 153, should I study a few more weeks?

What is the ideal studying time?

Thanks a lot!

I wanted to give an update to this post as I completed the EA test today, I scored 166.

I scored 160 both times with the official prep test 1 and 2. With GMATCLUB EA tests I did only 2 and got 143ish both times. The IR section I feel like is way harder than the official prep or the real test but it's a good exercise if you really want to challenge yourself and score high in the real test.

Do you remember by chance your score distribution for the Official EA and GMAT Club EA sections?
IR, Quant and Verbal?

sorry no, I reset my tests and redid them before taking the real thing... for the official prep, I would say I usually get 1-3 IR wrong, 1-3 verbal wrong and 1-2 quants wrong. The gmat club one is more difficult to say, as I said in my earlier post, the first time I did it, I did not finish IR and only got one correct. the second EA I did, I probably got 4 correct... can't remember verbal and quant but i do think I at least 2-4 wrong ones.
