Hi
flapjack29!
Congrats on scoring an awesome score after 1.5 years. That is rare. That's like coming up with an awesome dish after a week of cooking - more often than not, it is old, hard and stale but you managed to cook something really good! Kudos!
In terms of the AWA and IR. It is tricky. This is not a standard situation and they don't like people who have to get exceptions. Now, AWA was not even offered during the first year, so you may be able to get away with that (if that was the only issue) but having a low IR and a zero on the AWA, it may be one exception too many. Now, the schools really don't care about your AWA or IR per se but you never want to have this on the back of your mind, wondering if it may be a cause for casting a doubt on your application. Now, schools don't ding people for a single doubt but you are starting to accumulate things here - AWA, IR, and one more thing and you got things against you.
You may have to inquire with each of the business schools about the situation and I am not sure how open they will be giving you a clear answer but it may be worth checking with a few safeties to see if you can hear from them, perhaps join the
Zoom Q&A at MBA Spotlight when you can be somewhat Anonymous and asking the question and see what they say on the spot.
Otherwise, I feel nobody can guarantee a certain response and I would hate for you to have to retake.
Awesome score by the way!
