If you are concerned about an upcoming application deadline (and the idea that a School's Admissions Department won't be able to view your Official Score Report immediately), then you likely do not have too much to worry about). If you take the Official GMAT sometime soon (or if you have recently taken the Official GMAT), and you have an Unofficial result, then you should be fine applying during any upcoming application deadline. Schools often take weeks (if not months) to decide who to invite to attend their Programs - and the School's Reps likely won't bother to confirm your Score until they've already decided to invite you (since there's no point in confirming everyone's Scores - since so many Applicants will likely be rejected anyway). If you are really concerned though about any particular Program, then you should reach out to the Program(s) in question and explain that you've taken the GMAT, you have an Unofficial Score and your Official results have not yet been made available.
