For 2023 intake, has anyone given an online GMAT exam ? Which would be better ? Online or in-center exam ? I do not have any test center in my city and will have to travel to take the exam, will online be better ?
Is there any chance that the universities will not consider an online exam, now that test centers are open ?

If you will have to travel to a test centre, then GMAT Online could be a better choice for you.
I don't know of any university that does not accept it.
(Correction on 12 -July-2022) Most universities accept the GMAT Online but there are some exceptions. So please check the websites of programmes you want to apply to.
Many candidates are choosing to take GMAT Online. Some are taking it even though they have test centres in their cities.

Advantages and disadvantages to both. One advantage of the Online is you can choose a time of your convenience even if you're a night owl. A disadvantage, however, is that a score may take more time to become official due to an admin review. Had a student, for example, who reached out after an in-person 700. They took an Online exam about 10 days later. They ended up a 760 which took about two weeks to turn official because of such a review.
Probably fair to say universities in the US, for example, won't make a distinction between which one you take. If the score is valid and Official an applicant should be fine.
