Hi Experts,
I have started self study plan for GMAT prep and targetting to appear for the exam around June 2023. ( 4 months of study )
I have purchased 7th edition of Manhattan Prep ( All Q/V ) plus OG 2022 ( Only question Bank ) and learning concepts now for both quant and verbal.
I have chosen to learn quant and verbal alternate day.
Target for GMAT 710-750
Please help to guide on following questions ( may be silly ) :
1. As I move through chapters of Manhattan prep. Should I only focus on solving pratice set in the book ( coz advanced level questions are moved online ) and move through chapters ? OR I must solve advanced questions as well as I finish each topic OR any other approach ?
2. Linked to point 1, Should I also attempt to solve question under each topic from OG after finishing practice set in Manhattan prep ? OR I should attempt them after building concepts/strategies ?
3. I am focusing intially on strengthing my concepts and solving questions UNTIMED. When should I actually start solving questions in timely manner ?
4. Error log should be created during practice set of each chapter or during time/test stamina build phase of preparation . Linked to point 3.
5. When should I start solving GMAT FORUM questions ? Along with foundation exercises or only after all concepts of Q/V are completed ?

I will answer question number 3. I'm glad you are doing questions untimed to begin your prep. The good news is that as you focus on and improve your accuracy, better timing will organically follow. So regarding when to start worrying about timing, I would say you can focus on timing as you get to the tail end of the learning phase of your preparation. At that point, you should have the skills in place to focus on your problem-solving speed.
