As a person who got approved for 50% additional time, I want to add to this discussion. I realized that having extra time will have no changed in outcome or may affect your result in a more negative way. It seemed to me that the questions I encountered were slightly more difficult and different from the OG style of questions.
However, for my case, I got the extra time for other reasons but I feel that I need to get diagnosed with ADHD too, since extra time is not an effective solution for someone who is hyper-aware of any sound in a pressured environment. (I never had any good experience at test centre. sounds of door opening and closing, foot steps, and proctor whispering bothered me so much that i constantly worried what if there would be more sounds after a few minutes of silence, and my focus was more on the surrounding environment rather than the exam itself, and shifting my focus to the question back took me so much time because i would wait first for a few minutes to make sure there would be no more sound and thus, extra time itself would not be sufficient to alleviate the issue)
You would better consult a specialist to find out the best solution on how to take the exam. Good luck.
