Hi guys,
I recently purchased the GMAT Official Practice Questions 1 for $29.99 from the mba.com store to gain access to some more official questions.
First, I tried to create some "fake tests" of Verbal for myself using this software and using GMATNinja's instructions from this link (https://gmatclub.com/forum/experts-topi ... 44293.html). I followed the instructions to the T but unfortunately, whenever an RC question would come up, it would come up as a single question for a particular passage rather than a block of 3-6 questions; the next question would be SC, CR or a different passage.
I am out of Official Tests and was looking forward to using this resource as a substitute, by creating 36-question Official Verbal sectionals using the instructions provided. I was quite disappointed on finding out that the RC issue made it unusable for this purpose. I accepted that I could still practice mixed sets of SC and CR, but RC would have to be done separately.
However, perhaps more egregiously, when I decided to practice RC separately by selecting only RC questions in the software, the same issue cropped up! First question pertained to a particular passage, second question threw a whole new passage my way. It is obviously not feasible to practice RC like this. This seems like a very basic feature that should be working appropriately, especially considering the fact that the online question bank for the Official Guides works fine for RC - you get blocks of questions from 1 passage.
Is this a known issue which has not been fixed? Am I doing something wrong? I am selecting all possible RC questions, Exam Mode, Timed.

If it's been a while since you gave Official Mock 1, for example, it may not be a bad idea to repeat it, especially if your scoring level has significantly improved since then.

The issue is that some of the passages don't have many questions of one difficulty level. So, if you select just one difficulty level, you see only one or two questions for some passages.
What you can do is select RC questions of two or three difficulty levels. That way, you'll see a group of questions for each passage.
Also, your main goal should be to achieve high accuracy. So, you don't need to worry too so much about the timing or levels of difficulty of the questions.
