I am now studying GMAT on TTP on demand platform, and wondering wether it is worth skip SC and geomentry and prepare for Focus edition? I want to apply to MBA in R2.

If you plan to apply in Round 2, you may want to take the current GMAT since what score you should shoot for on the Focus Edition may not be clear by your application deadlines.
Likely for that reason, HBS has said that it won't accept Focus Edition scores for Round 2.
So, probably, you should plan to take the current GMAT and see how things go with the Focus Edition. If the first Focus Edition test dates are in October, then you may be OK using it for Round 2 applications. If they are in November or December, then probably, you should use the current version.

You have some time/flexibility. You could take the current version and decide later whether you want to take the Focus (in case you feel you're missing out for any reason). May want to check the requirements of the schools you're interested in regarding the Focus.
