Hi,
I just started on my GMAT (focus edition) journey, focusing on the Verbal section. So far, I've completed around 100 Critical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension questions, spanning difficulty levels from 650-700 and 700-750. On average, I'm getting approximately 72% of them correct.
I'm really curious to gauge where I stand in terms of Verbal skills, but I'd prefer not to use a full practice test for that just yet. Right now, my main priority is studying for the CFA, which is keeping me quite busy.
If anyone could kindly provide me with a rough estimate of my current Verbal performance, something like ~32V, that'd be very helpful!

Hi. Have you done any learning or studying besides attempting questions?
With a 10 question group that includes three easy, four medium, and three hard, you want to answer one wrong for a 95th percentile, two out of 10 wrong for 90th percentile and three out of 10 for 80th.
So maybe you are around 80th percentile in Verbal… but this is as precise as a sundial on a cloudy day 😂
Your best option is to measure your performance within each topic. Eg Are you seeing improvement in one specific topic or is 72% just an average for everything else in the world including a new topic you’ve never seen and the topic that you should be doing really well?
It is a good idea not to waste tests and not waste time taking test, I suggested to track performance by topic, for example assumptions or conclusions or strengthen or weaken. Are you improving or are you stagnating are you using proper strategies and following them or you improving your timing, etc.

To answer your other question, no I haven't done any studying, but I plan on reading the Manhattan Prep RC and CR books. Going forward I will try to nail down the easy/medium questions which i believe would help me identify any weak areas within CR/RC like you suggested.
