My system of easy, medium, hard is it very very rough system so once you start asking precise questions about it, things will start falling apart pretty quickly 😂

I would recommend going through them and having books and then solving the questions. It’s OK to try things out on your own and see how far you can get but once you learn to approach things one way, it’s hard to relearn….

Also, in my experience, easy and medium questions tend to follow patterns but hard questions require a different approach that sometimes unique in each question situation which makes those questions hard. So don’t get discouraged if you have a harder time cracking the hard questions in the initial stages of your prep. Save every question you make a mistake on and make sure you understand why you made a mistake and how to approach that question and should a similar question appear on a test, you’ll be able to solve it.

Could you provide an estimate of the difficulty ranges for easy, medium, and hard questions? (e.g., 300-500 for easy, 500-700 for medium, 700+ for hard)

The Official-Guide mentions the difficulty level of the questions. Consider leveraging the online Wiley version to create practice sets. You can specify the difficulty level but also the types of questions you want to do (i.e. 10 RC), for example.

I'm really curious to gauge where I stand in terms of Verbal skills, but I'd prefer not to use a full practice test for that just yet. Right now, my main priority is studying for the CFA, which is keeping me quite busy.
Hi gxp10,

It can be frustrating to be limited to 6 official practice tests, but I would advise you to focus on executing your plan without worrying about your current score level, at least for now. Conjuring a score estimate out of thin air can be fun, but don't take it too seriously. In other words, don't act on bad data.

All the best for the CFA.
