Hi singhvik,

I responded to you elsewhere, but I do think you took too many practice tests, so moving forward, I would focus more on mastering content (on the math side) before taking any additional practice exams. With that in mind, here's a helpful article on how you can move forward.

Hello, please help me analyze the ESR of my exam.

link to ESR: smallpdf. com/file#s=32c2563e-97f1-4488-949d-7522c6dc518d
I scored a 630 Q36 V40. I was aiming for a score of 680+ and spent approximately 1 month studying.

I studied Quant using Magoosh and MGMAT All the Quant. The only thing I looked over for verbal was sentence correction.

My mock scores in the order I took them:

530 Q31 / V32 - Magoosh Practice Test: Sep 4th
620 Q36 / V38 - Official Practice Test 1: Sep 14th
590 Q36 / V35 - Magoosh Practice Test: Sep 16th
640 Q39 / V38 - Official Practice Test 2: Sep 16th
540 Q31 / V34 - Magoosh Practice Test: Sep 18th
600 Q39 / V34 - Magoosh Practice Test: Sep 18th
540 Q30 / V35 - MGMAT CAT 1: Sep 20th
620 Q37 / V38 - Official Practice Test 3: Sep 21st
610 Q38 / V35 - MGMAT CAT 2: Sep 21st
680 Q42 / V40 - MGMAT CAT 3: Sep 22nd
660 Q41 / V40 - Official Practice Test 4: Sep 23rd
630 Q40 / V36 - MGMAT CAT 4: Sep 24th
640 Q42 / V36 - MGMAT CAT 5: Sep 25th
570 Q36 / V32 - Magoosh Practice Test: Sep 26th
590 Q36 / V35 - Official Practice Test 5: Sep 26th

630 Q36 / V40 - GMAT Attempt #1: Sep 27th

My exam order was Quant first then Verbal, IR, and AWA. I began to run out of time so I guessed on last 3 questions of Quant and guessed on the last 2 questions of Verbal. This test was very high stakes for me as I wanted to get a 680+ so that I could make round 1 deadlines for some of the schools I am targeting. I am now going to take the test again in approximately 1 month.

I definitely need to study quant very seriously and study verbal this time.

What insight does my ESR give to how I should prepare for the next 30 days? Thanks.

👋 Hey singhvik,

Here is what I would suggest:

Evaluation:
💼 Your dedication to the GMAT is evident. The frequency of tests indicates tenacity. However, consistent scores suggest you might be hitting a plateau.

📈 Strengths:
➡️ Verbal Prowess: A V40 on the GMAT is impressive. It showcases strong analytical and comprehension skills.
➡️ Consistent Quant Score: While Q49 isn't the maximum, the consistency shows reliability in quant skills.

🔍 Areas to Enhance:
➡️ Score Stagnation: The stagnation might signal that a different study approach or resources are needed.
➡️ Overall Profile Balance: Beyond the GMAT, the holistic aspect of your profile is important.
➡️ Extracurriculars, work achievements, and other distinctions need to shine.

🌐 Recommendations:
➡️ Consider a different GMAT prep approach or tutor. Maybe delve deeper into areas causing repeated mistakes.
➡️ Complement your GMAT efforts with solid achievements at work or in community service. If in sales, perhaps target a 25% YoY growth or spearhead a new community initiative, impacting 500+ lives.
