I just gave the official GMAT exam and scored in 710(Q49, V37) in it. My target score is 760+
I scored 760, 740,740,710,740,730 in the mocks last 3 mocks I gave consistently one day after the other. I am unsure how my score dropped. My maths was going extremely well in the last 1-3 questions I suffered because of lack of time but in general I am shocked it's not atleast 50. For verbal I feel like I got timing issue unsure how because I was trying to maintain pace but still got the issue so I know I have to work on it. These things did not affect my practice mocks as you can see above. I gave last exam couple months back and got 670(Q48 V35). Really really disappointed 😞
Any tips which would help.
Thanks in advance
Posted from my mobile deviceFirst off, a 710 is a fantastic score, so great job on that! It's clear you're already performing at a high level. Regarding the fluctuations, remember that your mock scores, mostly around 730-740, suggest that a 20-point difference on test day isn't unusual.
However, you've definitely got the potential to score higher! For Quant, maybe focus on pacing strategies to avoid those last-minute rushes. As for Verbal, refining your timing might help. A bit more practice, confidence-building, and you'll likely hit that 740ish mark or beyond. Don't be too hard on yourself; you're doing great and just need a bit more fine-tuning.
