I am appearing in GMAT test in next 15 days, what should be my best strategy to get atleast 650+ score
Achieving a 650+ score on the GMAT in just 15 days requires a focused and strategic approach. Here's a comprehensive plan to help you make the most of your limited time:

1. Assess Your Current Level:

Begin by taking a full-length GMAT practice test to gauge your current strengths and weaknesses. This will provide valuable insights into your areas of improvement and help you tailor your preparation accordingly.

2. Identify Your Target Score:

Break down your overall target score (650+) into section-specific goals. Aim for a Verbal score of 38 and a Quant score of 47 to reach a 650+.

3. Prioritize Your Weak Areas:

Focus on the sections where you have the most room for improvement. For instance, if Verbal is your weaker area, dedicate more time to practicing Verbal questions and strategies.

4. Utilize Official GMAT Prep Materials:

The Official Guide for GMAT Verbal Review and the Official Guide for GMAT Quantitative Review are essential resources for understanding the test format, question types, and test-taking strategies.

5. Practice with High-Quality Question Banks:

Supplement your preparation with high-quality question banks from reputable sources like Manhattan GMAT, Veritas Prep, or Kaplan. These resources will provide you with ample practice opportunities.

6. Target Specific Question Types:

Identify the specific question types that pose the most challenge and focus on mastering them. Practice these question types repeatedly until you feel confident in tackling them effectively.

7. Time Management is Key:

Practice timed sections and full-length tests to develop efficient time management skills. This will help you avoid rushing through questions and ensure you complete all sections within the allotted time.

8. Review and Analyze Mistakes:

After completing practice tests or question sets, thoroughly review your mistakes. Analyze why you answered incorrectly and identify patterns in your errors. This will help you avoid repeating the same mistakes in the actual exam.

9. Seek Guidance if Needed:

Consider enrolling in a GMAT prep course or seeking guidance from a qualified GMAT tutor if you need personalized support and structured guidance.

10. Stay Organized and Consistent:

Create a study schedule and stick to it consistently. Divide your preparation into manageable chunks and avoid cramming at the last minute.

Hi shilpikayal,

From your posts, it is not clear how much studying - if any - you have done so far, so before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your ultimate goal score a 650 or something else?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
