Today was my scheduled online GMAT exam at 9:30 am. I arrived at the exam center and completed my check-in by 9:15 am. However, even after nearly an hour, I found myself still waiting for the proctor to start the Zoom meeting.
Throughout this period, I persistently refreshed and sent emails seeking assistance from support and customer care. Eventually, upon conveying my concerns to Examity Support, Rama Swamy Naidu informed me that the examiner had been awaiting my presence. Shockingly, I was told that the exam had commenced without me. ( Please note: I had been attempting to enter the exam for an hour, repeatedly refreshing the page to access the Zoom link and wait for the examiner.
Only after I notified Examity Support did they take action and commence the exam! )
I had already completed the system check, and my ID information was ready—I believe I followed all necessary procedures. I paid for this test and I need to get the grades to apply to the schools I want. This is my first time taking the test, and this result is very surprising and disappointing to me ( or I can say, the
worst exam experience in my life).
I'm sharing this experience not only to seek solidarity with others who might have faced a similar situation but also to caution fellow students about the uncertainties associated with online exams. I urgently seek immediate assistance or advice!
