Hi. Very valid questions and I know how you feel. I can tell you that everyone receiving their ESR or just simply walking out of the test center and seeing the score, thought in their mind that they can surely do better if they took it one more time 😂
Well not quite a 770, the thought of retaking did cross my mind when I got a 750, mostly just to see how high could I push it.
To answer your question, ESR is tricky business. They are going to become a thing of the past in just a few days, though I’m sure people will still get them and try to extract useful information but it’s vegan enough to never give you quite that satisfaction. You could’ve missed experimental questions and the overall test could’ve been with too few hard questions, and most of the mistakes you made were probably just careless accidental things, especially if you did not get stuck on any questions.
Congratulations on this amazing score and what you’re feeling is completely normal 🤓

I recently completed my GMAT and was extremely happy with my 770 score (49q 48v). Even though I did not need it since I will not be re-taking the test, I decided to order my ESR today. I then saw that I only got 4 questions wrong in quant and 1 wrong in verbal. All the 4 questions I got wrong in quant were medium-hard to hard, and the verbal question I got wrong was medium-hard. I can't help but feel that my score should be a little higher considering this information. Should getting 4 hard questions not give me a 50q? I know this is a silly reaction but I really can't help feel this way.
However, my main point is don't order your ESR unless you are trying to improve your score. It just gives you FOMO
