Hi guys,

really weird things are going on with the class profile of UCLA. So they changed it couple of weeks ago and they put in the admission rate of 40%, which was very high and also the number of people they admitted (880 something). The average GMAT was 700 something.

But they changed it again 2 days ago and they deleted the number of people they admitted and also the acceptance rate. But they also took the average gmat out and instead they put in median gmat, which is 650!!!!! I am an interational candidate with a gmat of 620, who applied in R3. Now I am not sure if they are trying to encourage people or decourage them:) And the middle 80% gmat range is 640-760. But it so doesn't make sense to me. 296 people are enrolled and this basically means that 147 people have gmats from lets say 620 or 630 to 650 and the other half just goes up from 650 to 760? It just makes no sense to me.
