Q2, isnt E the right answer as male is bringing most of the food and only lower rates of foraging in females?

The reason I rejected Option E is because it talks about a hybrid approach, more so that Males will do "most" of the heavy-lifting, which is refuted by the passage and passage mentions that under the nest predation hypothesis females will forage for their own food.

" Therefore, under the nest predation hypothesis, species with a higher risk of nest predation should show increased foraging by females and lower rates of incubation feeding by males."

This part of the passage suggests that there will be lower rates of incubation feeding and high foraging. Thats why male bringing most of the food isnt a viable option

Hi Sajjad1994
Can you please explain the solution to Question 2?
Quote:
Females will leave the nest unattended periodically in order to forage for food for themselves.
I think unattended is not mentioned anywhere, can you please explain how this inference is drawn?
