Status: Pending on GMAT Exam delivered at Test center

Question

Hi,

I had given my GMAT on August 14, 2024. I still havent received my official score, it shows as pending. I have emailed the GMAC team but they keep forwarding my request to a different team. Can someone please help?

The exam was given at a test center. Should I be concerned?

That’s very unusual. 
Usually you get it in just a few days so this not normal. I don’t know that you need to be concerned but I would bug them via social media channels (IG and Twitter) for more expedited support.

PS. Which company/team are they redirecting you to?

Thanks for the reply, 
I emailed them on customercare(at)gmac to which i got a reply that my request has been escalated. Then I got a second reply two days later saying, thank you for contacting Pearson VUE GMAT CS. They said they needed 24-48 hours, but haven't heard back from them after.

I shall take this up via SM now I guess.

What could be the reasons for this delay?

I have no idea why there would be a delay.... we have not had reports of issues or cancelations or explanations for that matter.

The official page says it may occasionally take up to 20 days. Scroll all the way down to the bottom.

Thanks for the reply, it does say 20 days, and I am on day 19. I'm not sure what to do.

In terms of support, tomorrow is a day off in the US, and assuming their office is US-based, nothing will actualy get done until Tuesday, so I would reach out to their social channels on Tue and being professional firmly request your score to be provided ASAP so you can actually proceed with your applications and get out of this purgatory.

I am really really hoping it’s nothing because it has been exceptionally rare to have a score canceled for attest center exam. It pretty much never happens. (The only caveat being people using their phone during the break)

Yeah, there is no reason for the test to be cancelled, I didnt even take a break during the test so that crosses off the mobile thing.

It has been 2 weeks.
I have emailed and called them. But no one is returning any useful information. They are just trying to copy and paste some useless words to me.
