An automobile dealership sells only sedans and coupes. It sells each in only two colors: red and blue. Last year, the dealership sold 9,000 vehicles, half of which were red. How many coupes did the dealership sell last year?

suppose Red Sedan = x
So, blue coupes = 3x
No proper equation can be formed that can lead to a solution. NOT Sufficient.
Statement 2 -
suppose Blue coupes = x
So, blue Sedan = \(\frac{x}{2}\)
So, \(\frac{x}{2}+x=4500\)
\(=> x = 3000\)
The table stands -
Nothing can be formed without any more data. NOT Sufficient.
Combining statements 1 and 2 -
red sedan is one-third of blue coupe. So table stands -
So total coupes sold last year was 6500.
So option C is the answer
