Payment error in sending my GMAT focus score to schools.

Question

I'm trying to send my GMAT focus score to Schools and its showing a payment error inspite of trying different methods of payments and using different credit cards. On contacting the support team, they suggested to perform some basic troubleshoot steps which is of no use. Did anyone face similar issue?

Hi. Yes, this has happened before to a few folks. Try calling your bank and see if they are seeing a charge attempt on the mba.com side. 
There are 2 places where trouble can be: bank or mba.com. this will give you a fast answer to that at least.

 Check if your credit card is not restricted for international transactions or online payments. Sometimes, banks block transactions they deem suspicious.

As the others have mentioned, this could be a bank-side issue (if it's on the payment side, all you can do is wait). Try using a card that doesn't insist on an OTP and that you've used before for international transactions. Also, how did you pay for the GMAT exam, and did that card also fail this time?

I have tried multiple cards but facing the same issue and they all have international transactions active. For GMAT exam I've paid through my debit card but for sending the score only a credit card or paypal is accepted, in my case both are showing an error.

Can you try using your debit card for this purchase as well? Give it a shot (if it doesn't work, no big deal).

As for activating international transactions, that's probably not the problem. It's likely that your bank/banks are refusing the transaction on the basis of their own risk management rules. These are internal, and mba.com will not have much visibility into exactly why these transactions were declined.

Hi,
I'm from India and this happened to me multiple times 
I tried credit cards, debit cards and even paypal but none of it worked 
It finally worked when i used a persons credit card who was in the USA. This also works for AMEX cards.
The payment gateway for sending score reports is different and and is non compliant with RBI regs.
