Hi Guys,
I recently took the GMAT Online and scored 725. However, GMAC just cancelled my score and banned me for 3 years, claiming I used an unauthorized electronic device during the test. This is completely false – I did not use any such device. What should i do?
I really appreciate if any expert can help me with this
I suggest starting a new topic rather than sending out chat requests. This isn’t something that you can resolve quickly or fast. This will be a tedious long appeal process unfortunately. 😞
There’s not really a good process for this as this situation is fairly rare.
GMAC serves as the judge and executioner in this case, so you can only appeal to them. I would suggest taking 24 hours to cool down and then document everything and reach out to them within appeal being as factual as possible and Providing as much supporting evidence as you can
For example, I would include your practice test scores from GMA as those was from GMAT club if you have taken any to demonstrate your ability
I would also offer to them to allow you to take the test at the test center to resolve any questions because if supposedly you cheated, then taking it at the test center would allow you to clear out your name
but unfortunately there’s not a whole lot of pressure that you can apply on them or appeal another way. Your best shot will be this appeal submission and it’s really just a single shot that you have so I would suggest not rushing it.
P.S.
